The project included research work
as well as interviewing and documenting
strangers on the streets of Paris,
as part of my studies there.
The project deals with the handbag-
and the objects found inside it:
items that every person, whoever they
may be, carries with them throughout
the day and night. I treat the handbag as
an analogy for the identity card of the
person who carries it.
I argue that your bag, and the objects
you choose to carry in it, are necessarily
a reflection of your personality, beliefs,
and the choices you make in life.

I’m Yaara, a graphic designer, illustrator, art director.
My work is deeply inspired by the places I live in
and travel to, as well as by my surroundings and the objects I observe every day.
Typography, fashion, architecture, books, classical art, cinema, stories, facts, feelings and emotions-
all shape my creative process.
I like to combine these inspirations in my design
and illustration work, bringing them into my creations.
I also have a strong interest in documenting moments and highlighting the beauty in small, often hidden details- as reflected in my tres_bobo page,
both here and on Instagram.
This portfolio is an invitation to step into my world
and see how I think, observe, and create.
